AKA: Questions We Get A Lot
Q: Where Am I? A: This is MineHaus, a friendly vanilla minecraft server.
Q: What version of Minecraft can/should I use? A: We recommend using the latest version of Minecraft, though all versions of Java from 1.13 to most recent are supported. Bedrock players can join using the most recent release of Bedrock.
Q: When does the game update? A: Usually most updates to the server that follow a release from Mojang, take 1 to 2 months for the server operating system (paper) and all plugins to update.
Q: How big is the world?
A: The overworld 
is 20,000 blocks wide. The Nether 
and The End 
are 5,000 blocks wide.
Each Resource World is also 5,000 blocks wide.
Q: Can anyone help me get started? A: Chat is full of helpful friendly people who are usually willing to give you a quick tour and show you some of the things you'll need to know to get started.
Q: Where can I build? A: Players are welcome to build anywhere in the main world that is not already claimed, please remember to be respectful of others and give everyone room to expand.
Q: Can someone base with me? A: Get to know people in chat, and you may be able to find others who would like to build a base or project with you.
Q: When do the resource worlds update? A: These reset every two weeks, the exact time and date of update can be viewed on the countdown above the portal near the spawn warp point.
Q: Can I use Duped Tnt in my farm? Can I use a worldeater/tunnel bore? A: No, duping of items (sand, carpets, rails, tnt, etc) on the server is not allowed.
Q: What is the seed? A: We don't share the seed to promote fair and equal play.
Q: How many sethomes do I get? A: Everyone starts with 3. You can earn a 4th after 96 hours of playtime.
Q: Do you have an in game currency? A: No, players trade goods for other goods. Visit the warp Shops to see the shopping district and see what players are offering for sale.
Q: When/how can I sell stuff? A: Players who have been actively playing for more than 48 hours can request a shop plot from a playwright. This plot will give you access to 5 barrels in which to set up barter trades.
Q: How do I get a Player Head? A: Player Heads are not currently available on the server. In the future there will be alternative methods to acquire decorative Player Heads.
Q: What do all the abbreviations in chat mean? A: See our dedicated page all about this: Gamer Talk
Q: What does 'Voting' do? A: Voting helps more new people find the server. We are only listed on the one website, and there are many other servers listed there. Your votes lift us up in the results on that website, meaning more players might pop in to say 'Hi'. Plus, it gets you a cookie. Java players can vote in game using the /vote command. This will automatically claim your reward. Bedrock players need to vote via the website (https://findmcserver.com/server/minehaus), and need to be logged into the server to get their reward, so you might need an extra device to vote on.
Q: Can I stream from the server? A: Streaming is welcome but please let people know so they can make the decision to not be on stream if they dont want to be.
